Why are the spacemen of Unfortunate Spacemen so unfortunate? It’s because some of them aren’t spacemen at all — and it’s going to take every ounce of your wit and nerve to figure out who’s the real McCoy, and who’s a murderous space-fiend. In celebration of the game’s recent Early Access launch on Steam, Gamepedia and Sandswept Studios are pleased to announce the Official Unfortunate Spacemen Wiki.

In space, no-one can hear you scream — and, if you’re wearing a spacesuit, they might not be able to see what you look like, either. That’s the central conceit of Unfortunate Spacemen, a game where a healthy suspicion of your co-workers isn’t just allowed, it’s actively encouraged.

Unfortunate Spacemen gameplay

As you and your colleagues work together to repair your failing outpost, you’ll soon realize that something isn’t quite right. Maybe it’s evidence of sabotage somewhere around the base. Maybe it’s the brutal, gory murder of that nice bloke who wore the yellow spacesuit. Whatever the cause for alarm, it will soon emerge that not everyone among your crew is quite as human as you would have expected.

What follows is a game of survival that has as much in common with Clue as it does your typical online multiplayer experience. Up to 32 players are tasked with completing objectives and using their powers of deduction to figure out who is the odd one out — unless, of course, you’re the alien who’s causing all the disruption in the first place.
