Looking for a completely unique co-op experience? We Need to Go Deeper is a roguelike about submarines and sunken treasure, set against a beautiful backdrop inspired by the works of Jules Verne. Gamepedia and the game’s developer Deli Interactive are pleased to announce the Official We Need to Go Deeper Wiki.

In We Need to Go Deeper, all the best loot hides below the reflective surface of a fearsome body of water. The Living Infinite is a mysterious undersea trench that has already claimed the lives of many brave explorers — and now it’s down to you and your crew to venture down into the depths and see what’s up for grabs.

Of course, things aren’t quite so easy. You might head down below in your sub and immediately stumble upon a hidden cache of treasure chests, making you rich beyond your wildest dreams. However, it’s far more likely that you’ll run into a school of murderous monsters, an aggressive pack of submarine pirates, or even a long-forgotten undersea civilization. No two runs through The Living Infinite are the same, so there’s always a reason to revisit the depths.

Engaging gameplay is one way that We Need to Go Deeper draws you into its undersea world, but its hand-drawn graphics are just as crucial to the tone Deli Interactive is aiming to achieve. The visuals take inspiration from the original artwork drawn for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Édouard Riou, and they certainly make the game a sight to behold.

Indeed, We Need to Go Deeper is making waves in the video game industry. Last December, it was announced that the roguelike is among the 20 projects selected to form the Taco Bell Indie Game Garage, a program intended to support and promote promising games being development by independent studios.
