LEGO STAR WARS: The Force Awakens

LEGO toys have evolved far beyond the tiny blocks of our childhood and the painful objects we’d step on in the middle of the night. In fact, LEGO video games have blossomed into an entire franchise of titles that allow us to reimagine our favorite heroes in colorful, hilarious worlds. As of today, LEGO STAR WARS: The Force Awakens is now available on a variety of platforms, and, in celebration, we’d like to present the Official Wiki on Gamepedia – a growing resource for learning more about your favorite characters, locations, and more.

When The Force Awakens hit theaters last year, the entire planet was practically buzzing with hype. For me, seeing the opening credits roll across the movie screen, accompanied by an eruption of cheers, was a surreal experience. Ever since the movie’s release, we haven’t been able to get enough of BB-8, Rey, Kylo Ren, and the entire crew of old and new Star Wars characters. LEGO STAR WARS: The Force Awakens is the perfect opportunity to dive into the action with your favorite characters and experience The Force Awakens in a new, fun-filled light.

In addition to retelling The Force Awakens, the game includes exclusive new story levels that are set between Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and the newest film. The game also features blaster combat, action-packed flight gameplay, and arena-based battles. Clearly, the Star Wars universe is a wild and dangerous place; the more information you have at your fingertips, the more likely you are to survive.

The Official Wiki contains information on the game’s characters, their abilities, and the areas where each characters can be played. You’ll also be able to learn about the game’s locations, from Jakku to the Millennium Falcon to the Starkiller Base. It’s fans like you that add information and help to grow this community-driven resource, so feel free to visit the Official Wiki and start editing!

Want to see the game in action? Check out the below trailer from E3 2016.

That trailer was so awesome, I’m picking up LEGO STAR WARS: The Force Awakens on Steam right now. It’s also available on PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS. Even if you’re a scruffy-looking nerf herder, you likely have one of these platforms – and it’s the perfect time to start playing! I wish you the best of luck on your galactic adventures, and may the force be with you.
