Virtual reality is no longer science fiction — the first headsets are now available, and players all over the world are enjoying a completely new frontier of gaming. Earlier this month, PlayStation VR hit retail, and if you’re lucky enough to have got your hands on the hardware already, the only question that remains is which experiences are worth your time. Fortunately, the VR Wiki is stocked with all the information you need.

Most early adopters of VR hardware are looking for immersive experiences that simply weren’t possible on traditional hardware — and PlayStation VR already has several games that fill that niche.

Driveclub VR puts you behind the wheel of an array of top-flight supercars as you jostle for position across a host of detailed racetracks. EVE: Valkyrie also places players in control of a high-spec vehicle, although they’re soaring through space rather than burning rubber. For something a little different, REZ Infinite puts a new spin on the cult classic, transporting players to an alternate dimension where they’re bombarded with sheer synesthesia.

At this point in the technology’s evolution, many of the most prominent VR experiences are designed for a single player. However, there are also several notable multiplayer games that are compatible with PlayStation VR.

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League is undoubtedly one of the must-play launch titles for the headset — the game pits two teams against one another in a competition that blends the first-person perspective of games like Call of Duty and Battlefield with the sports-inspired action of a game like Rocket League. Battlezone is a little less intensive, but no less action-packed, repurposing the Atari classic as a high-tech showcase.

PlayStation VR is the first headset to be released for home consoles, and as a result, several big-name developers are bringing some top franchises to the hardware. Batman: Arkham VR offers up a brand new adventure for the world’s greatest detective, while Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is a high-octane spin-off from one of 2015’s biggest sleeper hits.

Anyone looking to check out one of the most well-received and unique games to hit the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive should definitely check out Job Simulator, which was ported to PlayStation VR among its roster of launch titles. Other similarly unusual experiences can be found in the form of mind-bending puzzler SUPERHYPERCUBE, and the rhythm action game Thumper.

In a very short space of time, PlayStation VR has amassed a varied library of compelling titles — and there’s much more in store for the coming months. To keep up to date with all the latest releases across PlayStation VR, the Oculus Rift, and the HTC Vive, make sure to keep an eye on the VR Wiki.
