Optional Twitch Account Merging on Gamepedia

Login Changes

Starting today, we’re changing the way you’ll log into Gamepedia. Previously, you’d have to log in to each and every individual Gamepedia wiki, and it was a time-consuming, repetitive process. Now, when you click “Sign In” on a Gamepedia wiki, you’ll be redirected to log in on Gamepedia.com. What’s the best part about this new process? After you’ve signed in on Gamepedia.com through one wiki, you’ll simply press the “Sign In” button once on additional wikis to be instantly logged in. Say goodbye to typing your credentials a hundred times!

This new login process lets users spend more time editing and less time logging in, and it also allows us to add an exciting new integration: optional Twitch account merging!

Twitch Account Merging

Since joining the Twitch family in 2016, Gamepedia has worked to integrate your favorite Twitch content into our wikis. Now, our exciting integrations go one step further by making it easier than ever to log into your Gamepedia account.

Starting today, you’ll have the option to merge your Gamepedia and Twitch accounts, allowing you to log into Gamepedia with your Twitch username and password. You’ll still keep your Gamepedia username, hard-earned wiki points, achievements, and edit history. The only thing that will change is the way you’ll log in. To learn more, please visit our FAQ page here.

Merging your accounts is completely optional, but doing so ensures that you’ll be able to take advantage of the exciting features we have planned for the future! Get your PogChamp emote ready – you’re going to need it.
