NP2: Triton is built in HTML5, which means it is playable on any device, whether mobile, laptop or desktop, and it is not dependent on operating system. This is a game anyone can play! To add onto how accessible NP2 is, it is the perfect game for someone who does not have a lot of time to play. All you need is a few minutes each day to log in, lay out your strategy and build your empire!
Over several weeks, you work to control all of the stars either by takeover or through negotiating with other players. The more stars you have, the more resources available to you. This includes ships, money for upgrades and research for new technologies. Played in real time, this strategy board game depends on star capture and upgrading your tech in order to hold onto what you own. In addition to direct war with other players, diplomacy plays a key role. Who can you trust?
