Default Dan is a quirky cross-platform platformer game that we first encountered during the MAGFest Indie Games Showcase. It combines the traditional gameplay of this genre, with completely unexpected mechanics that turn many of your gaming instincts on their head. While we usually love to jump up and grab those coins, in Default Dan those coins will send pieces of your lifeless corpse flying across the screen. Even after several levels you may not be able to resist the urge to grab those shiny golden coins, despite having learned of their explosive nature. And that’s just one of the crazy situations you’ll have to work through as you try to navigate Dan through each level!
I don’t want to spoil any more of the fun for you, but suffice to say that you’ll find yourself laughing (and maybe cursing) after your instincts betray for you for the hundredth time in a row!
