The Game Awards had an incredible show this year that celebrated an equally incredible year of games. There were a ton of new games and content updates announced, including new footage of Psychonauts 2, a new game from the creators of Bastion, Mortal Combat 11, and a new Dragon Age! - Journey to the Savage Planet — a new game by Typhoon Studios launching in 2019!
- The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe Edition is coming to both consoles and PC with new content!
- Among Trees is a new vibrant survival sandbox coming to Steam Early Access in 2019!
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was a surprise announcement this year! It’s coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch and is being developed by Team Ninja.
- Rocket League is getting a new Car Park DLC, bringing the McLaren 570s!
- Far Cry: New Dawn is releasing February 15th, and returns to an apocalyptic Hope County following the events of Far Cry 5!
- Hades was a surprise announcement from the talented people at Supergiant Games, and is available to play right now in early access on the new Epic Store. It appears to be a rogue-lite game combining the game play of Bastion and Transistor, two previous Supergiant titles.
- Scavengers is a new survival game that you can sign up to test here!
- Dead by Daylight is getting dedicated servers and new chapter called Darkness Among Us.
- Anthem got a new story trailer and releases on February 22!
- Crash Team Racing is back in remastered form with CTR: Nitro Fueled! It will release on June 21, 2019!
- The Outer Worlds is brand new single-player first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian and the original creators of Fallout!
- Dauntless coming to Xbox, PS4, and the Epic Games Store.
- The Last Campfire is a gorgeous looking new adventure game from Hello Games!
- PUBG announced a new snow map coming to the game!
- ATLAS is a new first-person pirate adventure MMO from the creators of ARK, arriving on Steam Early Access on December 13 and Xbox game preview program next year.
- Bioware dropped a teaser for the next entry in the Dragon Age franchise, which will somehow involve Solas following the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Mark Darrah, who is executive producer on this game, had a bit more to say on the official BioWare Blog!
- The Pathless is a new game from the creators of ABZÛ, with players controlling an archer and their eagle.
- Stranger Things: The Video Game got an announcement trailer.
- Mortal Combat 11 was another surprise announcement! It launches April 23 and there is a community reveal event on January 17!
- Fans got a first look at gameplay from Psychonauts 2!
- Fortnite dropped a new trailer for “The Block” which has spontaneously appeared on the battle royal map. The Block will feature community creations from the newly announced Creative mode for everyone to see!
- Rage 2 got a new trailer and is releasing on May 14!
- Finally, Nintendo surprised everyone by announcing that Joker from Persona 5 will be appearing as a new character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate as DLC. Each DLC will provide a new character that has never been in the series before, paired with a new stage to fight on and music!
