When it was first released for PC in 2011, The Binding of Isaac became an immediate critical darling. It received glowing reviews from critics and players alike, and is widely credited with revitalizing the “roguelike” genre that is becoming more prevalent today. With The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Steam, we’re happy to announce the Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Wiki.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a true remake of the original game that utilizes a new game engine, brand new hand-drawn artwork, refined visual effects, and a brand-new soundtrack by duo of Matthias Bossi and Jon Evans. Just about everything in the game has been touched and updated in one way or another, creating an experience that is both new and familiar.

Because The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a roguelike, you will never experience the same game twice. In fact, there are over four billion potential scenarios you will be able to experience, with over 100 different enemy types to face and hundreds of challenges to conquer. To help you along your way you’ll have your pick of over 450 items that are in the game, including over 160 that are new to Rebirth.

You’ll also find yourself facing off against the fifty-plus different bosses in the game, each of whom require a different strategy to defeat. Are you up to the challenge? Of course you are – you’re you, after all! Nothing can defeat you, and soon you’ll have yet another opportunity to showcase your propensity for survival.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is slated for a November 4th release on Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.
