Depending on who you ask, you may be told that there has been a shortage of tactical RPGs to come to North America from Japan. If you’re one of these people, you’re in luck! Kadokawa Games and NIS America are proud to present Natural Doctrine – and we are excited to announce that we’ve partnered with them to support the Official Natural Doctrine Wiki!

Natural Doctrine takes players to a far-off land of might and magic, where humans battle against goblins, minotaurs, orcs, and other monsters to maintain control over their realm. You will take on the role of Geoff, a guard protecting the human fortress-city of Feste. You have been tasked with clearing out a goblin cave near the city; however things quickly take a turn, and you find yourself at the center of events that will shape the future of humanity.

Pretty cool, right? That’s only the start of it. As you progress through your adventure, you will assemble a colorful cast of characters who will help you on your journey. You will need their help, too, as the challenges you face will only grow as your story progresses.

In keeping with traditional tactical JRPGs, Natural Doctrine employs a turn-based combat system. You can control the different members of your party in a fight, placing them strategically around the battlefield to better strike at enemies and, more importantly, keep Geoff (you) from falling. When two units fight they erect encampments, which a character can retreat to at the end of each turn – so long as it isn’t destroyed, of course.

There are hundreds of hours to be extracted from Natural Doctrine, and if you are a fan of the Tactical-JRPG genre, you can find it on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. Trust me – it’s well worth your time. If you’re wanting to learn more about the game, you can also visit the Official Natural Doctrine Wiki, where you will be able to learn more about the different enemies, members of your party, locations throughout the world, and much more.
