That Which Sleeps is a turn-based strategy title in which YOU are the bad guy. But you can’t just show up and rule the world – you have to make sure the circumstances are just right. You’ll use your dark powers to recruit Agents and send them to the different cities and towns to cause famines, revolts, and even assassinate kings. As your Agents complete their tasks, the world will be thrown further into chaos and, in time, the world will be ripe to welcome you as its new lord.
Of course, you can’t just send people to burn crops and murder kings without expecting some kind of opposition. Heroes and Champions will rise to challenge them, and from time to time they’ll thwart your efforts at world conquest. Of course, once your highly trained assassins dispatch of these wannabe goody-two-shoes, either through coercion or straight-up stabbing them in the heart, the world will be yours to rule – presumably with an iron fist.
