Project: Velyria is a new sci-fi browser-based MMORPG from MADSOFT Games. In the game, you play as a colonist that’s been abandoned on Velyria, a planet overrun by ruthless alien creatures. You’ll explore the planet’s dangerous tunnels and participate in turn-based battles with Velyria’s monsters. There are four character classes in Project: Velyria: Soldier, Recruit, Scientist, and Worker. Each class utilizes different skills, weapons, and attributes. Enjoy playing as a hard-hitting melee? Choose the Soldier class. Would you rather use nanobots and machines to deal your damage for you? Your character should be a Scientist. As you level, you’ll assign stat points, skills, and class advancements. Project: Velyria’s branching class advancement system gives players a wide variety of benefits to choose from. Throughout the game, you’ll continue to encounter new weapons, armor, missions, and skills.
One of the greatest features of Project: Velyria is the game’s unique floor map system. Floor layouts are randomized and linked to your character, and no two players will ever experience the same floor maps. As an MMORPG, Project: Velyria allows players to trade items, form alliances, and participate in battles for a spot on the game’s leaderboard. The game is browser-based, so you’ll never have to download a game client or pesky updates, and all of your characters and progress will be saved online.
