Three factions battle for resources in Etherium, an RTS game from Focus Home Interactive and Tindalos Interactive. The game launched on Steam last month for PC users and has been praised as a nice mix of classic RTS gameplay and interesting new concepts. To learn more about the game’s factions, skills, and tactical strategies, check out the Official Etherium Wiki on Gamepedia.

In Etherium, you’ll need to manage your resources, develop your base, and take command of your fearsome fleet (including infantry, tanks, and aircrafts) to emerge victorious against your foes. There are three factions in the game: The Consortium, The Awakened of Intar, and The Vectides. The Consortium is an ultra-capitalist empire with a thirst for profits and an immense private army. The Awakened of Intar are guided by their faith and use the gift of precognition in battle. Lastly, The Vectides use etherium to transfer their consciousness into combat-ready units, allowing them to assemble much larger armies than other factions. Which will you choose in Etherium? Game features include:

  • 3 vastly different empires – Each faction has its own strengths, weaknesses, and different tactical command skills (map exposure, climate control, or planetary bombardment)
  • Action-packed gameplay – In addition to battling your foes, you’ll need to survive weather anomalies and mysterious secondary factions
  • Single and multiplayer modes – Experience a single player Conquest mode or a challenging multiplayer mode with up to 4 players
