In the Pleistocene era, survival was no easy feat — between a harsh climate, the difficult of procuring resources and the wide array of animals higher up the food chain, times were tough. MountainWheelGames has set about capturing the feel of this period in its new game, and Gamepedia is pleased to announce a partnership with the studio for the Official Stone Rage Wiki.

This atypical multiplayer survival game throws an array of challenges at the player. Everything from staving off a mammoth attack to crafting clothes that can offset freezing temperatures is down to you, with the survival of your tribe — or even your species — at stake.

As well as early humans like Cro-Magnons and Neanderthals, players will be able to explore the prehistoric landscape as a selection of animals, including fearsome saber-toothed big cats and the powerful cave bear. These options provide a wholly different experience to playing as a human character.

Whether you’re exploring on two feet or four, the game’s Official Wiki will be your destination for details of where to find all-important crafting items, resources and more. Stone Rage boasts a massive 64 square kilometer map, so you’ll need all the help you can get to scour every last location.

Here’s a preview of some of the environments you can expect to traverse in Stone Rage:
