We know all too well the haunting tales of demonic possessions and the horror it causes the innocent. We’ve followed along, gripped by the stories of priests hunting and exercising evil found around the world. But now it’s time to learn a harrowing story unlike any other, one that transports you inside the very walls of the Vatican where evil incarnate was discovered by the most experienced exorcist this world has ever known.

This April, The Pope’s Exorcist tells the story of what happens when the Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, Father Gabriele Amorth, played by Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe, is sent to investigate the terrifying possession of a young boy that leads to him uncovering the darkest of evils buried deep within the Church itself.

From the producers of Zombieland: Double Tap, Snakes on a Plane, and Bad Boys for Life and the director of Overlord and Samaritan, The Pope’s Exorcist is based on the books An Exorcist Tells His Story and An Exorcist: More Stories written by Father Gabriele Amorth. Books that are based on the actual files kept by Father Amorth during his three-plus decades as the Vatican’s Chief Exorcist.

Fandom’s latest Crash Course takes you inside the spine-chilling story of evil and hidden secrets revealed in The Pope’s Exorcist.

The Pope’s Exorcist is coming to UK & Ireland cinemas on April 7th.
