With the evenings getting colder as we move deeper into winter, there’s never been a better time to snuggle up on the couch and search for your new stream obsession. To help that search, we’ve put together a list of some of the best shows you can watch right now on ITVX.

Whether you’re looking for hard-hitting crime dramas, fresh comedies, or hit reality shows: no matter your genre, we’ve got you covered.

Irvine Welsh’s Crime (Series 1 & 2)

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name. Irvine Welsh’s Crime follows the troubled but determined detective Ray Lennox (Dougray Scott) who’s tasked with solving a series of twisted crimes including the abduction of a child and a mounting case of grisly murders.

Lennox’s obsession with rooting out evil from the source threatens to upend the foundations of his personal life and send the detective spiralling deeper into a world of alcohol and drug abuse.

Dougray Scott gives a captivating performance as Ray Lennox. Combined with writing by Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting) – who not only authored the original novel but co-wrote the show’s script – and you’ve got the making of a series that crime-drama enthusiasts won’t want to miss.

Series one and two are available now.

Changing Ends (Series 1)

Alan Carr takes his first venture into scripted comedy with his new six-part semi-autobiographical series, Changing Ends. The series, which focuses on Carr’s formative years growing up in Northampton, was co-written by Carr, with his familiar eccentric and whimsical style of humour. He also stars in the series as himself in the present day, with rising star Oliver Savell taking on the role of a young Alan.

Changing Ends is a coming-of-age story that explores Carr’s awkward steps through puberty, life as the son of a football manager, and his sexual awakening. Navigating life as a young gay teen in ’80s England certainly has its highs and lows, and Carr delivers all of them with a big heart and even bigger laughs.’

Changing Ends is available to watch for free now on ITVX.

Six Four (Series 1)

Created by BAFTA award-winning screenwriter George Burke and based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Hideo Yokoyama, Six Four follows a dark conspiracy in Glasgow where police officer Chris O’Neill and his wife Michelle contend with the sudden disappearance of their daughter, Olivia.

But fractures form when Michelle’s past as an undercover officer comes back to haunt the pair. Worse still, Olivia’s disappearance bears a striking resemblance to an unsolved missing child case that was marred with cover-ups and institutional corruption.

Chris and Michelle must do everything they can to uncover an emerging conspiracy before the past repeats itself.

Six Four is on ITVX now: catch every episode on ITVX.
