Brace yourselves — a new era of LEGO® NINJAGO is upon us, and with it a new era of heroes (and villains). NINJAGO: Dragons Rising is set to hit Netflix, YouTube and Cartoon Network from June 1, and fans will get to see the awesome power of heroes-in-training, as well as the Elemental Masters we know and love onscreen.

As the villainous Empress Beatrix looks to seize control Elemental Dragons to conquer the newly-merged realms making up Ninjago, the ninja must work to recover the ancient Source Dragon Energy before this fused world is torn apart.

But, beyond the new series, there is an epic new range of LEGO® NINJAGO sets to help bring the ancient magic of the Elemental Dragons to life. Here are four must-have sets from the new range that’ll help showcase the pure awesomeness of this new generation of LEGO NINJAGO.

Sora’s Transforming Mech Bike Racer

Sora is one of the new heroes of NINJAGO: Dragons Rising, being mentored by Lloyd after escaping the shadowy Imperium — the city in which Empress Beatrix is the sovereign ruler of. She’s tech-savvy above all else, which you can tell by her impressive transforming mech bike racer.

Coming with four figures — Sora, Arin, baby dragon Riyu and the evil Rapton — this transforming mech bike is armed and ready for battle, with two stud shooters and a golden blade. The 384-piece set also transforms into a sleek ninja bike that can still shoot studs as it speeds away.

Zane’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Race Car

Being the Elemental Master and Ninja of Ice, you can expect Zane’s chosen method of transport to be as cool and sleek as possible. The Ninjoid’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Race Car lives up to that expectation, with the set sporting some awesome mechanics to recreate the action of the NINJAGO: Dragons Rising series.

Once built, the car spins at the press of its spoiler, and also features two hover flyers for the dragon hunters to fight it out. With Zane, Cole, and two Imperial Claw guard figures coming with the 307-piece set, fans can help bring one of the series’ key battles to life.

Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team Mechs

Like teacher, like student; Lloyd and Arin have the ability to team up and combine forces in this Ninja Team Mechs set. With Lloyd having to teach Arin the ways of Spinjitzu, this colossal 764-piece set can operate as two individual mechs, or join as one to form a larger, more powerful mech.

With both mechs wielding huge weapons, they can easily take down the three villainous figures also included in the set — Rapton, Imperium Guard Commander and Imperium Claw General.

Elemental Dragon vs. The Empress Mech

Everything comes to a head in this huge final showdown with Empress Beatrix taking on one of the ferocious Elemental Dragons. This set, with over 1000 pieces to connect and build, showcases the epic scale of the series, and includes six of its key characters as figures — Beatrix, Jay, Sora, Zane, Lord Ras, and an Imperium Guard.

Coming with a Ninja flyer to raise the stakes, you can also amplify the Elemental Dragon’s power. Take the golden blade wings and stud shooters from the flyer to help strengthen the dragon and take down Empress Beatrix once and for all.
