Ready or Not is going to deliver some laughs and screams when it hits theatres this August. This brand new horror-comedy blends together the ensemble comedy of Clue with the surprisingly twisted violence of You’re Next. But, who are the characters involved in this darkly hilarious and thrilling tale? Let’s take a look at who’s who in Ready or Not.

Grace

Weapon of Choice: Whatever can help her stay alive

Grace (Samara Weaving) is excited to be marrying the love of her life, Alex Le Domas (Mark O’Brien). She’s also going to become a part of his very wealthy family. But, she soon discovers that Alex’s family has a very bizarre and frightening tradition: a family game where Grace is going to be hunted down and killed.

Where most people would be paralyzed by fear, Grace is a resilient and determined protagonist that turns the trope of the “final girl” on its head. Get ready to see a brand new horror heroine in Grace.

Aunt Helene

Weapon of Choice: Battleaxe

Aunt Helene (Nicky Guadagni) is the most bitter member of the Le Domas family and for good reason. She could have been at the head of the table but decisions in her past called her loyalty to the family into question. Still, she’s more than ready to swing that axe around to do what needs to be done.

Becky

Weapon of Choice: Bow & arrow

Becky (Andie MacDowell) is the matriarch of the Le Domas family and she is certainly not someone to mess with. She’s devoted to her family and willing to do whatever it takes to protect them. If that means shooting an arrow through someone’s head to do so, she won’t think twice.

Tony

Weapon of Choice: Winchester rifle

Tony (Henry Czerny) is the patriarch of the Le Domas family and he might just be the most petulant member of the whole family. Hotheaded and fierce, Tony enjoys his wealth and the hunt for Grace so much so that Becky might need to calm him down every once in a while.

Daniel

Weapon of Choice: Whiskey and a rifle

Daniel (Adam Brody) is one of the Le Domas sons and he might still be holding on to some childhood trauma from a previous “family game night.” Daniel is dark and twisted but the question is whether or not there might be a good person lurking deep inside of him. And since Adam Brody is in the role, you can bet that Daniel will be bringing some black humour to the show.

Charity

Weapon of Choice: Speargun

Charity (Elyse Levesque) is Daniel’s wife and looks like she’s just as game to hunt down Grace as all of the other Le Domas family. One wonders what game she had to survive in order to become a part of the clan… She’s deadly and doesn’t mind getting blood on her hands.

Alex

Weapon of Choice: His love for Grace

Alex is Grace’s fiancé and is dead set on marrying her. He’s not going to let his family’s warped ritual get in the way of that. Alex does feel conflicted since he still loves his family. However, he doesn’t want Grace to become a victim of their mysterious and fatal ceremony. He might be a prodigal son but how he’ll save Grace and retain his family’s affections is going to be intriguing to see.

Emilie

Weapon of Choice: Pistol

Emilie (Melanie Scrofano) is the daughter of the Le Domas family and is best described as “enthusiastic” about her hunt for Grace. Hyperactive and with a bit of a black sheep status within the family, Emilie is ready to prove she has what it takes to make the Le Domas clan proud. But, she might not be totally successful along the way.

Fitch

Weapon of Choice: Crossbow

Fitch (Kristian Bruun) is Emilie’s husband and seems to be more than happy to be a part of a very rich family. Guess he’s okay with knocking off potential new family members in order to be a Le Domas. Fitch is a former frat boy and his lunk-headed mentality lends itself to some of the most outright comedic moments in Ready or Not.

It’s an ensemble unlike any other and it’s likely they won’t all make it out alive. Find out who survives when Ready or Not opens in theatres this August.
