“Wooo! Shut Up!” Kennedy took a giant risk when she became the first contestant in Drag Race herstory to portray a man for the Snatch Game, but it sure did pay off. Her spot-on performance as Little Richard was hysterical and helped her tie with Ginger Minj (who played Adele) to win the challenge.
The Explanation of Her Death Becomes Her Look
The struggle was real for Kennedy during the Death Becomes Her challenge, as her Glamazon phoenix outfit looked more like a rooster that caught on fire. But just because a Drag Race moment is considered bad certainly doesn’t mean it’s not memorable. In a backstage scene from Untucked, Kennedy explained the inspiration behind her outfit and it became one of her funniest moments of the season.
‘Roar’ Lip Sync
The dancing diva of Texas is at her best when she’s performing and her lip sync to Katy Perry’s “Roar” is the perfect example. Although the performance ultimately kicked fan-favorite Katya out of the competition, even the Russian queen’s most fervent fans couldn’t deny Kennedy’s moves. She did, after all, jump off the stage and landed in a split.
What She’s Been Up To Since Her Season Ended:
Kennedy already entered the Season 7 workroom as a professional queen but has had even more opportunities to polish her craft since exiting the show in 2015. Instead of just performing in Dallas, she’s now had the opportunity to tour the world and be introduced to many new types of drag, but will it be enough to help her snag the crown?
