Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem delivered a very fresh, funny, and engaging take on these well known heroes in a half shell and their world this summer, which extended to the animated film’s bad guys. As explored in our exclusive debut of a clip from the bonus features from the film’s Digital release, available this Friday, the main antagonist, Superfly, went to especially bizarre and wonderfully wild places by the film’s conclusion.

Check out the clip above, as Mutant Mayhem Director/Co-Writer Jeff Rowe, Producer/Co-Writer Evan Goldberg, and Producer/Co-Writer/Cast Member Seth Rogen (“Bebop“), discuss having Superfly transform in a way David Cronenberg would respect, as he not only becomes a giant, but fuses with a ton of sea creatures and land animals. As Rogen explains, early conversations about going this route with Superfly felt like a joke at first, but once they saw actual concept art, the consensus became “I want to see that!”

From Paramount Home Entertainment, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be available to buy or rent on Digital on Friday, September 1. All bonus features will be available with a digital purchase.
