The Tick took a big bite out of New York Comic Con. Actor Brendan Hines, who plays Superian, stopped by to chat with FANDOM about the possibility of a Season 2. This happened just before Amazon debuted a trailer for the second half of Season 1 during The Tick panel.

Hines told FANDOM that he definitely wants a rematch with The Terror, played by character actor Jackie Earle Haley.

Superian, the world’s first superhero, claimed to have defeated The Terror sixteen years ago. But it seems that the villain has returned, casting doubts on those claims.

Haley is well known to fans, having played the mysterious Rorschach in Watchmen and Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot. Despite his penchant for odd and scary roles, Hines tells us Haley couldn’t be nicer. But he still wants to beat him on screen if their characters meet again.

As for a Season 2, that remains a possibility (until then, Hines is promoting his third studio album, “Qualms,” out next week).

But fans of The Tick have a whole new set of episodes to watch; the trailer for the second half of Season 1 dropped Saturday.

Arthur remains at the mercy of The Terror, while The Tick hatches a plan to rescue his friend.

“The Tick” returns February 23, 2018.
