Fandom spends some turtle time with Jeremy Howard, the man behind the shell of Donatello in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, releasing on Blu-ray Sept. 20. Howard discusses his own Turtles fandom as well as what makes the world’s favorite “heroes in a half shell” work so well for so many generations of fans. In the sequel to 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Donnie, Leo, Raph, and Mikey take the action out of the sewers and into the streets of New York as they square off against new threats like Krang and the Technodrome and fan-favorites Bebop and Rocksteady.
