We’re all itching to know how Game of Thrones will conclude in the eighth and final season. A lot of the big stuff is hard to predict — we wouldn’t dare try to guess who will end up on the Iron Throne at this point — but that won’t stop us from speculating on Season 8!

Here are four bold predictions for the female characters still alive at the start of Season 8:

Dany Has a Child

Okay, so knowing that Dany is Jon’s aunt makes this whole thing a little weird. The season 7 finale confirmed the truth, but we all knew this going in, so it’s no surprise. What is a bit of surprise is just how much baby talk there’s been lately. Dany’s been pretty adamant that the dragons are the only children she’ll ever have. The witch who killed Khal Drogo told her she’d never have more children, but Jon rightly called B.S. on the credibility of a vindictive witch.

So with all this talk, we can’t help but wonder if, now that they’ve hooked up, Jon and Dany end up having a baby that launches a new Targaryen dynasty. Dany’s been worried about the legacy she’ll leave behind, but this would mean she wouldn’t have to worry too much.

Of course, there’s the whole madness-caused-by-incest issue. As the old saying goes, “every time a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land.”

Cersei Doesn’t Make It Out Alive

It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t think Cersei’s going to fall. Even prophecy says that. When Cersei was younger, a witch (what is it with witches?) saw into her future and made a few predictions that already came true. Cersei would marry a king. Check. She’d have three children and they’d all die. Check. A younger, more beautiful woman would take all she held dear. Could be Dany? In the books, the witch also gave her another warning: the Valonqar (“little brother” in Valyrian) will kill her. Cersei always thought it was Tyrion, but her twin Jaime is younger than her by a few minutes. He also just left for the North without her and is fed up with her antics. He seems the likeliest candidate to kill Cersei at this point.

A lot of fans also think that Jaime, not Jon or Dany, is truly Azor Ahai reborn and will be the Prince That Was Promised. Legend says that to forge the sword Lightbringer and save the world, Azor Ahai first had to kill the woman he loved. Will the Kingslayer become the Queenslayer? Hmmmmm…

Arya and Sansa Become Team Badass

Littlefinger sought to sow distrust between the Stark sisters, but his best-laid plans backfired. With Littlefinger dead and the North firmly in the hands of House Stark, it seems obvious that Arya and Sansa are going to become a force to be reckoned with in Winterfell, even as Jon and Dany make their way to the castle with the Targaryen armies. Plus, they have the all-seeing Bran by their side.

This combination can only point towards a vital role in defending the North from the Night King and the Army of the Dead. Each Stark has surrendered a little bit to one another, and now they’re a stronger whole. The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Dany Learns the Truth About Jon

It finally happened. 21 years after A Game of Thrones was first published, we finally learned that Jon Snow isn’t a Snow after all. He’s Aegon Targaryen, the legitimate son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. That means Jon/Aegon has an even stronger claim to the Iron Throne than Dany, who spent the last seven years securing her claim to the throne. Dany’s not going to like that very much, but will Jon really want to sit on the Iron Throne? Probably not. He’s sworn allegiance to Dany, so as long as she stays the just ruler he believes in, he probably won’t change his mind.
