Fantasy Tales Online is a free-to-play (and win), retro MMORPG with over 50 hours of content, strategic boss fights, and thousands of character customization options. This indie title just entered Early Access today on Steam, and the developers, Cold Tea Studios, are excited to grow their community and continue to shape the game’s direction.
In the game, you’ll begin in the starting area of Bluevale, which is only a small town in the game’s massive world. You’ll form parties, collect gear, and fight your way through dangerous dungeons and quests. Fantasy Tales Online includes puzzles, player housing, unique character abilities, and more. For a completely free game, it’s definitely worth checking out on Steam.
Going into Early Access, Fantasy Tales Online is already a full title. You won’t have to worry about a half-finished game that’s missing a lot of key features or content, as all the core mechanics of an MMO are already in place. The developers are simply looking to include players in the balancing and polishing of the game. Fantasy Tales Online will continue to receive new content throughout the Early Access period, including new zones, items, boss fights, and an extended crafting system.
In celebration of the Early Access launch, we’re partnering with the developers to present a Fantasy Tales Online Code Giveaway! We’re giving away 1,000 keys on a first-come, first-serve basis that include:
