Elegant. Tranquil. Serene. These aren’t words you’d normally associate with a post-apocalyptic world filled with lava and desolate ruins. But, in Mushroom 11, these adjectives perfectly describe the gameplay of this intuitive, indie title. Developed by Untame, Mushroom 11 allows players to manipulate an amorphous blob of fungal cells through puzzling obstacles. We’ve partnered with the game’s developers to present the Official Mushroom 11 Wiki, an expansive source for all of your game-related queries.
Mushroom 11 is one of the most highly anticipated indie games of 2015, and it has received numerous awards and recognitions already. What is it that makes this title so unique? To control the game’s green fungal blog, you’ll have to “erase” fungal cells. When cells are erased, the fungal blob will regenerate new cells on the opposite side, moving the blob across the terrain. It’s not as simple as pushing the blob around; you’ll have to strategically navigate the harsh environment in order to survive. The fungal blob will have to squeeze between cracks, escape toppling buildings, and avoid bubbling lava pits. It’s truly unlike any game you’ve ever encountered.
