GRAV, a futuristic sandbox survival game, went into Early Access on Steam earlier this month after being Greenlight in less than 46 hours. Most impressive! In the game, you’ll explore giant worlds, hunt alien creatures, build outposts, craft armor, and attempt to survive against other players. We’ve partnered with the game’s developers, BitMonster, to provide you with the Official GRAV Wiki. Visit the Wiki to learn more about in-game items, crafting, and additional game features.
In GRAV, you’ll need to collect and harvest resources throughout the world. This can be done alone or with a group, and there are both PVE and PVP servers available for players. Once you begin gathering resources, you can work towards building a well-equipped base with automated defenses. Will you work peacefully with other players and form an alliance? Perhaps you’d rather become notorious for aggressive negotiations? Don’t be surprised if you’re challenged to an in-game dance off. Additional GRAV features include:
- Endless Worlds – Planets in GRAV are created procedurally from composite parts
- Multiplayer – You can set up your own GRAV server or join an official one
- Unique Building System – GRAV‘s building system allows you create a myriad of structures, from an entire city to a dungeon outpost
- Exstensive Crafting – Armor, weapons, and bases all come from crafting
- Dynamic Events – Procedural world events include blossoming night flowers, a meteor shower, and an alien attack
The developers have been working tirelessly to fix bugs, implement new ideas, and improve existing features. In fact, Patch 7 went live just yesterday, January 18th. The patch included improved drop rates for certain items, server optimizations, and a lengthy list of other changes. To view the Patch notes, visit the Announcements tab on Steam.
