Our September Editor of the Month, ILeonx, dedicates countless hours and tons of effort to the Minecraft Wiki. He was nominated by several of his peers that felt his commitment should be rewarded! We asked ILeonx to complete a short interview so other Gamepedia users could get to know our newest Editor of the Month. Congratulations, ILeonx, and thanks for doing so much for the Minecraft Wiki!

Where are you from?

I’m from Bavaria, Germany.

What’s your day job?

I’m still a student. After school I’m going to start an apprenticeship as an office administrator.

Outside of wiki editing, what are your hobbies?

I like to play other games like Grand Theft Auto V, meet up with friends, and play soccer.

What do you enjoy most about Minecraft?

The thing I most enjoy about Minecraft is that you can build what you want. You can do anything you can imagine.

How were you first introduced to Minecraft?

I was introduced by a good friend. He showed me how to play and how to craft.

How did you discover the Minecraft Wiki?

The good friend, who introduced me to Minecraft, and also showed me the Minecraft Wiki.

What prompted you to start wiki editing?

I found an error on one of the pages in the wiki. After I corrected the error, I discovered more.

Favorite Minecraft biome?

I love the flowers forest. The biome is so colorful, but unfortunately also quite rare.

Favorite Minecraft mob?

I like the villagers. They have such funny sounds, but also trade useful things.

What advice do you have for someone new to wiki editing?

If you see a mistake, correct it! Don’t be afraid of doing something wrong.
