Batman – The Telltale Series has been going strong since its launch back in July. The first two episodes feature just as much Bruce Wayne as Batman as The Dark Knight digs into Gotham’s secrets. Now the Batman – The Telltale Series episode 3 has a release date, as revealed in the below video. The third episode will arrive Oct. 25, as you’ll see in this new video.
The first episode introduced Bruce’s relationships with Telltale’s versions of Catwoman, Alfred, Penguin, and more. The second episode exposed secrets about the Wayne family and Arkham Asylum. So what does Batman Telltale episode 3 have in store? Things aren’t looking good for half of Mayor Dent’s face. Here’s how Telltale describes it.
In Episode 3, Penguin’s brutal attack broadcast on live TV has left Gotham City reeling. As Bruce and Batman, you’ll dig deeper into the web of intrigue surrounding the newly revealed Children of Arkham. Meanwhile, behind closed doors, the mysterious Selina Kyle reveals more of herself to Bruce. And in the aftermath of the attack, Bruce’s friend and Gotham’s new mayor, Harvey Dent, is a deeply changed man. Who can be trusted when the future of Bruce Wayne – and the Batman – could be determined by the flip of a coin?
Ouch, poor Harvey Dent has seen better days. In the brief third episode clip, Dent is already flipping coins and talking to himself. Not to mention that half of his face is rotting off after some accident involving Batman. As in most Telltale games, it’ll likely be up to the player’s discretion how Bruce deals with this transformation and if this version of Batman can actually save Harvey from his twisted fate.
Batman – The Telltale Series Episode 3: ‘New World Order’ will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Tuesday, Oct. 25. For all other consoles and mobile, Telltale will announce the specific launch time at a later date.
