Hitting theaters this coming Friday, Warcraft is the live-action adaptation of the widely popular World of Warcraft — a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) from Blizzard Entertainment. Directed by game mega-fan Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code), the film tells the story of the peaceful realm of Azeroth, which stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.
Stars Ben Schnetzer (who plays the young mage Khadgar) and Robert Kazinsky (who plays the fierce orc warrior Ogrim Doomhammer) recently sat down with Fandom to discuss their respective characters, their first exposure to the video game mega-franchise, and their own particular fan interests. Check out our video interview below.
