Marvel and Star Wars Fans can Preorder new Disney+ Blu-rays now

Streaming services are commonplace these days, but don’t dismiss good ol’ physical media just yet! Disney’s latest batch of Blu-ray releases includes some of its best series from the Star Wars and Marvel libraries, including intriguing tales of spycraft set in a galaxy far, far away and the rise of a new star-spangled Avenger. First seen on Disney+, the Blu-ray releases of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Moon Knight, Star Wars: Andor, and Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will be available starting April 30 and are now available to preorder.

As usual, each Blu-ray set comes with a wealth of extra content, and in terms of quality, you’re getting either crisp 4K Blu-ray or 1080p Blu-ray–opt for the 4K if you have a TV and media player that support 4K. Additionally, collectors will appreciate the steelbook packaging and art cards bundled with each series.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: The Complete First Season

In a world forever changed by Thanos, the Blip, and billions of people suddenly resurrected back into existence, Captain America is needed now more than ever. But is Sam Wilson, the Avenger who helped save all of reality, ready to wield the shield? That’s the question the hero known as the Falcon has to answer, while dealing with new threats and familiar foes in this post-Endgame series. Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray releases come with an eye-catching steelbook cover and three art cards. As for the extras, you can go behind the scenes with the Cap’s Shield featurette, a gag reel, deleted scenes, and Assembled: The Making of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Moon Knight: The Complete First Season

One of the weirdest Marvel shows, Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant, a man plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Sharing his body with the mercenary personality of Marc Spector, Grant also discovers that he has become the avatar of ancient Egyptian gods and can harness their might to become the powerful Moon Knight. With enemies converging on him, a mystery to solve, and multiple personalities at war within him, time is running out for Grant in this Marvel series that regularly throws curveballs at you. The first season release includes a mini-documentary about the Egyptian mythology that inspired Moon Knight, a feature detailing the making of Moon Knight, deleted scenes, a gag reel, a steelbook case, and three art cards.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi – The Complete Series

Just what was Obi-Wan Kenobi up to when he went into exile following the end of the Clone Wars? The former Jedi master may have gone underground, but as detailed in his solo TV series, he still found himself dodging Imperial Inquisitors and Darth Vader while reluctantly helping friends in need. This is a feature-packed release, and both the the 4K and standard edition Blu-rays include director’s commentary from Deborah Chow, a deep dive into the lore behind the Inquisitors and Darth Vader, and collectible art cards.

Star Wars: Andor: The Complete First Season

The darkest Star Wars series, Andor examines the desperate lengths the Rebel Alliance went to in its efforts to overthrow the Empire, blurring the line between good and evil as spies waged war in the shadows. Starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor and Stellan Skarsgard stealing several scenes as the enigmatic Luthen Rael, Andor takes place in the five years leading up to Rogue One as rebellion begins to grow within the galaxy. This release comes in a stunning steelbook case and you can see how some of the more memorable moments in several featurettes. Like the other box sets, you’ll get three art cards as well.
