After a season full of Vanjie chants and Vixen rants, we officially have our final four queens heading into the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 finale.
Kameron, Aquaria, Asia, and Eureka found out on the latest episode that they’d all be advancing to the finals in two weeks (next week is the reunion episode). That means we’ll be getting the finale formula that originated in Season 9, which has the final four competing in a lip sync deathmatch to decide our winner.
If Sasha Velour’s iconic rose petal reveal taught us anything, it’s that the entire season comes down to whatever happens on that stage. So while we’ll have to wait to see who really turns it out, here’s our final power ranking, determining who is most likely to win based on the season overall.
4. Kameron
At no point in the season was Kameron on anyone’s shortlist of queens who were destined to make it to the finale, but the quiet muscle queen proved to be unstoppable. The latest episode showed a montage of her greatest looks and moments on the show, and it suddenly became clear that if she had just showcased a bigger personality, no one would be surprised to see her on top. After winning three lip-syncs in a row, we already know she has the talent to be a worthy opponent for the other three finalists. But she still feels like the weakest option among a very strong group of final competitors, so seeing her actually take the crown would be the biggest shock in 10 years of the show.
3. Asia O’Hara
Asia very much deserves to be in the top four. The queen gave us some amazing looks — that dandelion couture was really something — and her mothering persona in the workroom endeared her to fans. (We’re definitely going to have to pretend that the Beyoncé Snatch Game impression never happened though. That was probably the most uncomfortable moment of the season.) Asia is a polished, professional queen and was a legend in the Texas drag scene long before walking through the workroom doors for the first time. But her performance in the final challenge didn’t pop enough to put her in front of the other competitors going into the last round.
2. Eureka
Eureka’s online haters don’t match her onscreen record. The elephant queen has always proudly presented her larger-than-life personality, but she also proved throughout this season that she can serve “proportionized” looks and slay in the acting challenges, too. She stole focus in the final dance challenge, despite struggling in rehearsals, and even managed to overcome her fear of singing in front of people. She’s well spoken and charismatic, making her a fantastic representative of the Drag Race brand. But there’s one queen who may have just outshined her…
1. Aquaria
Aquaria has had a steady upward rise throughout Season 10, showcasing more and more talents as each episode progressed. She’s the queen with the most main-challenge wins heading into the finale, including her surprising Snatch Game win for her portrayal of Melania Trump. Aquaria entered the workroom as a look queen and we all knew that was where her talents were strongest. RuPaul even declared that Aquaria is in the top five of all the fashion queens throughout the 10-year history of the show. But at first, her personality seemed lifeless and she struggled to speak coherently. But she proved several times as the season progressed that she knows how to make us laugh, and by the time this week’s episode came around, she was eloquently speaking to Ru and Michelle and even the other queens. She added growth on top of the talents she already brought into the competition on day one, so as long as she slays her final lip sync, the crown is hers to lose.
