Preorders for PlayStation’s limited-edition Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 console, DualSense controller, and console covers went live in late July. Unsurprisingly, all three of the stylish PlayStation products, with their distinct visual nod to the Venom symbiote’s arrival in the game, proved to be very popular. This was much like the Collector’s Edition of the game itself, which quickly sold out when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 preorders became available in June (it’s back in stock now).
The Spidey gear has gone in and out of stock, but right now you can still preorder the special-edition PS5 console and matching DualSense controller. The console covers, on the other hand, are difficult to secure for a reasonable price, as all authorized sellers are sold out.
The console and accessories release September 1, well before Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s October 20 launch. Featuring Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and a whole suite of supervillains (including the aforementioned fan-favorite, Venom), the sequel is looking to improve upon everything that made the original such as hit. Limited Edition PS5 Bundle
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle gets you everything, as it pulls together a PS5 with the Spider-Man 2 faceplate, a Spider-Man 2 controller, and a digital copy of the upcoming game.
PS5 bundles with games typically cost $560, but this particular one is going for $600. Every major retailer except for Amazon and Target still has preorders available, though GameStop is only taking orders in stores.
Preorder Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DualSense Controller
Don’t want to buy a whole new console? You can still join in on the web-slinging fun by picking up the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DualSense controller. This is the traditional DualSense with a black and red color scheme. That means it offers adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and everything else that makes the DualSense one of the most technologically advanced controllers around.
This special-edition controller costs $80. At this time, preorders are still available at multiple major retailers, including Best Buy. Amazon is currently sold out.

Console Cover
If you already own a PS5, you can complete the look of the special-edition console by pairing the DualSense controller with the stylish faceplate–if you can find one. These are available for the standard PS5 and digital edition. Featuring an aggressive front plate with a black and red design, along with a white Spider-Man logo, it’s arguably the best official PS5 faceplate yet. The back plate, meanwhile, is a standard black.
The faceplate costs $65, slightly more than a standard faceplate. It’s unclear if retailers will receive additional stock after the faceplate launches on September 1. As of now, preorders are sold out.
Considering the console and DualSense controller are still available despite being quite popular, it seems like PlayStation anticipated the demand. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for console cover restocks, but they haven’t been available since the day preorders went live.
