The latest Uncharted: Lost Legacy trailer is quite the story teaser. It shows Chloe and Nadine as they depart on their journey to discover the lost treasure, the Tusk of Ganesh. The pair of explorers seems to have discovered a key of some kind that could bring them closer to the treasure, which is steeped in Hindu mythology.
Due out later this year on August 22, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy stars new hero, Chloe Frazer, but is totally separate to the story of Uncharted 4. But it sure does look just as stunning.
Check out the latest trailer below:
“In December we said that we’re approaching this project as a true Uncharted game – complete with its own deep narrative with complex character development, all-new destinations, refined gameplay, and blockbuster cinematic moments,” explained Naughty Dog developers in a post on the PlayStation Blog.
“We’re especially excited to have Chloe as our new protagonist and explore more of her story as she and Nadine venture across India in search of the fabled Tusk of Ganesh. To that end, we wanted to share a new scene from early on in the game as Chloe and Nadine try to unravel the clues leading to the Tusk’s location.”
You’ll be able to buy Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for £34.99/$39.99 as a standalone option, but if you bought the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Digital Deluxe Edition, Explorer’s Pack or Triple Pack you’ll be able to download The Lost Legacy for free. You don’t get any of the pre-order bonuses though.
Anyone that pre-orders Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will get a free digital code to download Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy when the game is released. That’s the original game that’s being re-released on PS4 as a PS2 Classic later this year.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is due out on August 22, exclusively on PS4.
