We had such a good time at the annual Fandom party in San Diego this year, we decided to do it all again – in New York!

Following on from the July 21 event in California, Fandom pressed go on the party button once more in NYC, this time at HK Hall, New York, New York. So good they named it twice; a party so good, we did it twice (in one year). Fandom Party New York was presented by Paramount+, in partnership with Heinz, Z2 Comics, Pinfinity, and Ardbeg. The whole event was hosted by none other than Ice-T and Coco.

Glow Up

Let the face painting commence.

More than 600 revellers – made up of fans, celebrities, influencers, partners, and press –attended the bash themed around the “Glow Party” vibe of Teen Wolf. The party brought to life a fan-favorite episode of the werewolf series — Season 3 Episode 16 otherwise known as “Illuminated”.

Black lights, neon elements, and body-painted models created the atmosphere, thanks to Paramount+, while body paint and glow-in-the-dark tattoos were on offer to partygoers keen to get involved. A Teen Wolf and Wolf Pack-themed double exposure photo booth allowed guests to capture their body art – or just themselves having fun!

Teen Wolf-Themed Activities

The party had a Teen Wolf theme.

The Paramount+ photo booth space provided the starting point for a Nogitsune-themed scavenger hunt throughout the event, for a chance to win some awesome prizes. Guests were handed cards with riddles containing clues as to where to find four QR codes leading to Fandom wikis. But they had to complete the hunt against the clock – lest the Oni reach the Nogitsune first!

All this, while guests also enjoyed performances from Ice-T, Cool Keith, Czarface, and DJ Kevy Kev, thanks to Z2 Comics, who also provided gift bags and a Death for Hire wheatpaste-style photo wall.

Flesh and Blood; Cocktails and Pins

Themed light bites and cocktails were served.

And that’s not all. Heinz supplied the delicious party food designed to pair well with Heinz “Tomato Blood” (guys, it was ketchup) while themed Teen Wolf cocktails – the Wolf Howl, The Alpha, and Scott’s Pack, courtesy of Ardbeg — were devoured by the crowd.

Attendees also received collectible AR-enabled Fandom pins with exclusive Wolf Pack and Teen Wolf wallpapers, and a Paramount+ selfie filter for added themed fun.

Until Next Time

Now you’ve seen the photos and read the round-up, we bet you’re thinking, “Why wasn’t I there?” Well, next year perhaps you can be! Look out for your chance to attend Fandom’s New York Party in 2023. Until then, keep it Fandom.
