Star Wars Battlefront II has been officially unveiled to the world. And we’ve already pulled together everything we know about it, including a brand new campaign that covers the years in-between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The multiplayer of the game also looks bigger and better than its predecessor, including the many famous heroes who will be included in the game. But just who is in the Star Wars Battlefront II roster? We’re here to break it down.

The Star Wars Battlefront II roster includes heroes from every era of Star Wars, from the original trilogy to the newest films and even the less-than-beloved prequels. Of the ones confirmed in the first trailer above, it’s all Force users, but the rest of the Star Wars Battlefront II roster must go beyond the usual Jedi and Sith. (We’re crossing our fingers for Jar-Jar.) We’ll update as we find out the every new hero that’s unveiled.

Rey

The new hero of The Force and Luke Skywalker’s newest student is one of the most exciting additions to the Star Wars Battlefront II roster. Rey’s look in the reveal trailer looks to be the same as in Force Awakens, meaning she’s also running around with Anakin’s old lightsaber to chop down Stormtrooper. There’s still so much we don’t know about her, but we can hope that if she develops new abilities in The Last Jedi that those moves will be DLC down the line.

Kylo Ren

The brattiest lightsaber users in the universe is also part of the Star Wars Battlefront II roster. Kylo Ren is the son of Leia and Han, the former student of Luke, and the young man you killed his fellow Jedis-in-training. He’s a dangerous, angry leader in the First Order who would kill you as soon as look at you, even if you’re family. Just how dangerous will he be in the game? And will Kylo be playable without his helmet on?

Yoda

The first reveal trailer really broke out the big guns near the end. Arguably the ultimate Jedi to ever wield a lightsaber, Yoda is officially part of the Star Wars Battlefront II roster. Based on who Yoda is facing, it looks like it’ll be his prequel self, not the more laid back fellow we met in Empire Strikes Back. He’ll certainly be challenging, though the biggest question is just how he’ll play in a shooter. Like, won’t Yoda’s tiny size make him much harder to hit? That seems like a real advantage in a game like that.

Darth Maul

It’s everyone’s favorite Zabraks, back from the dead. Darth Maul was one of the best parts of The Phantom Menace, and now he and his dual lightsabers are coming to the Star Wars Battlefront II roster. He’s got to be a pretty dangerous customer, and it’ll be great to see dream matches against Original Trilogy folks and even Force Awakens stars. But will any of his appearances from Clone Wars be included in the character or will we have to wait for a sequel.

The Original Heroes?

`

`

Those are all the heroes confirmed in the first trailer, but you’ve got to think most, if not all, of the heroes from the last game will be included. Luke, Leia, Han, Boba Fett, Jyn Erso, Darth Vader, Greedo, and many more just have to be invited to return, right? the Star Wars Battlefront II roster just wouldn’t be the same without them.

Stay tuned for more updates and reveals as we wait for the November 17 worldwide launch of the game.
