One of the most exciting things about any new superhero movie is seeing the hero’s new costume —and no hero has had quite as many incredible costumes as Spider-Man. The Iron Spider is one of the best new suits revealed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and we’re so excited to see its return in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The Iron Spider suit made its cinematic debut in Avengers: Infinity War, when Peter Parker wore it to help Iron Man, Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy fight Thanos during the Battle of Titan. Tony Stark designed it himself and built it for Peter to wear as an Avenger. In a devastating moment we still haven’t totally forgiven Marvel for, the suit was turned to dust during the snap. But when Peter was resurrected in Avengers: Endgame, the Iron Spider suit came back with him, and he wore it during the Battle of Earth to defeat Thanos for good.
We’ve already seen the Iron Spider suit in the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, showing off the suit’s advanced tech like retractable spider legs and a collapsible helmet. And to celebrate the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, we’re giving away an Iron Spider electronic helmet from the Marvel Legends Series.
