The long-awaited origin story of one of pop culture’s most mysterious and intriguing characters is almost here. Snake Eyes, the silent ninja warrior of G.I. Joe, is getting his own origin film and we can’t wait to see how the character became who he is.
Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, is a fresh take on the masked fighter, with British-Malaysian actor Henry Golding (The Gentlemen) in the lead role and Andrew Koji (Warrior) as his rival Storm Shadow. It kicks off its own timeline and introduces us to the fight against the shadowy terrorist organisation Cobra. Expect huge ninja battles, extreme sword fighting, and chaotic vengeance being wrought upon our favourite characters.
The film is directed by Robert Schwentke, known for his work on The Captain and RED. Larry Hama, the writer of the original G.I. Joe comic books, has been closely involved with the film so we know this one is going to be special.
To celebrate, Fandom is giving you the chance to win a double pass to see Snake Eyes on the big screen!
