Some may have never expected Nintendo to add a season pass or downloadable content to its Legend of Zelda series. But times have changed, as series director Eiji Aonuma announces in this special update about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
For $20, you’ll get a series of DLC, starting with a small set of treasure on launch day. Then comes a new, higher difficulty mode in the summer. Lastly, by holiday 2017, there will be all new story content added to Breath of the Wild.
This is quite a major moment for the Zelda series, but how will fans react? Guess we’ll find out when the game releases March 3 on Switch and Wii U.
